STORY:
Another picture of large structure called „The Central – this time a view from the inside.
Initially Central was thought to be a kind of power plant, but last expedition discovered that it was rather a refueling station. Once, small space shuttles were taking off from large landing platform at the top of the structure. At each tour they were carrying to orbit a few kilograms of antimatter closed in a magnetic container. It remains a mystery why such hazardous activity was carried out inside a crowded city. An accident would result in an explosion that could annihilate every building in one hundred kilometers radius.
It was not the first time that archeologists were puzzled by paradoxes of ET016 civilization - Some of their technology seems to be far ahead from anything invented by humans, lot of discovered devices still remains unidentified. We are unable to unravel the principles on which they worked or what was their function. Simultaneously scientists were amazed by numerous examples of recklessness and very bad engineering practices. It was so strange, that a hypothesis of two separate and completely different civilizations living together on ET016, was advanced. However remains of only one specie have been discovered, and no one ever found a direct proof of existence of another intelligent specie.

Sadly, was this based on a novel? The description kind of confused me on what kind of species that inhabited this scene: were they human, humanoid? The ambulance in the left-bottom corner gave it away that they were human though.
